So much for my good intentions that I mentioned last September in Just to say… as I’ve only done two posts here this year.
I’m now going to try to post a photo, about once a week, for which the only criteria is that I won’t have been taken it on Flighty’s plot, hence the title, and category, Off plot photos.
Apart from that they may show just about anything but will probably be taken on two allotment sites, one where my plot is and the other just across the road where the horticultural society trading shed is.
This was taken this morning on a plot just by the trading shed -

It’s easy to have good intentions, much harder to carry them through. Looks like there was a bit of DIY in progress, I don’t think I’ve ever had a saw at my plot.
Jo don’t I know it! I could say that I’ve been sidetracked by my horticultural society website that I set up in late October and edit.
The plot has been dug over but apart from these there’s nothing else on it! I’ve got a saw at my plot which I was given but have never used. xx
Y’know, for a moment there, I thought that was a frog trying to climb up the chair!
Nikki it does at first glance doesn’t it! xx
I like that
Do you suppose that these tools have been dug up, or found in the soil when turning it over? That saw looks a little rusty
Mo thanks. I don’t think that they’ve been dug up but possibly just found lying about. It’s well rusty, and I think that they’ve all been there a while. xx
Lovely idea Flighty, as you know I love to take photos but usually end up having something to say about them as well! This photo seems to tell a story of good intentions: a dug over plot and a chair to sit down on – or maybe to use as a workbench for sawing wood? It’s all very intriguing and will keep us all guessing! xx
Caro thanks. I’ve had this blog for ages but it’s always been a bit ‘stop and start’ so hopefully this idea will give some continuity. I like your thoughts on the picture but I guess that we’ll never know! xx
