Sunshine Award

In her Sunshine Award post on Friday, 10 August Jo at Through The Keyhole very kindly gave me this blog award which is much appreciated.

I shall now answer the questions which mainly relate to favourites.

What is your favourite colour?  It’s always been blue, although it’s not my favourite flower colour.

What is your favourite animal?  I’ve always liked cats, and among the big ones the magnificent snow leopard is my favourite.

What is your favourite non-alcoholic drink? Without a doubt a nice strong, hot cup of tea with a dash of milk and no sugar.

Do you prefer Facebook or Twitter?  I’m on both and as with most things they have good, and not so good, points.  Facebook really does annoy me at times so I have to say that I prefer Twitter.

What is your passion?  When it’s raining there’s nothing better than sofa flying reading a good book. If it’s fine then plotting, pottering and pondering on the allotment.

What is your favourite pattern?  I don’t really have a favourite but in the past few years I have become much more aware of, and interested in, patterns in nature.

Do you prefer giving or receiving?  Both are nice.  I think that it’s good, and also important to try,  to give and receive in equal measure.

What is your favourite number?  Probably 0 (zero) for no particular reason.

What is your favourite day of the week? Now that I’m retired it’s usually Monday, which when I was working would have been my least favourite.

Rather than pass this award on to others I’ll be more than happy if anyone wants to do this and claim a Sunshine Award. All I ask is that you comment here to say that’s what you’re doing.

A much deserved sunshine award for very colourful pictures that brighten the dull days for me at any rate

    Congratulations! You have sunshine :)

Thank you for accepting the award. I’ve enjoyed reading the answers to the questions. My mum drinks really strong tea, a dash of milk and nothing else. If we go out anywhere, she always asks if she can make her own tea as more than a dash of milk and she can’t drink it. Patterns in nature are fascinating. I love the fact that a zebra’s stripes are similar to fingerprints, no two are the same.

Jo you’re welcome, and thanks again for giving it to me. That’s good to know. I can drink tea almost anyhow but that’s how I like mine as well. They sure are, and read that link with great interest. xx
